I live in Lancaster in the
north-west of England.
I was at school in Maidenhead in Berkshire and at Lancaster University
between 1976 and 1980 where I got a degree in Engineering.
I taught English as a foreign language in Athens and Cairo. When I
returned to England, I trained, qualified and worked as a Chartered
Accountant for 13 years. During this time I worked in Leeds, Manchester
and Blackburn.
I now manage the computer network for a small company in
Kendal. A job
I enjoy very much.
I play bridge and have done so since I was at school. I now play weekly
with a group of friends.
I am a Member of the Sun Hotel quiz team. The
team plays in the 4th division of the Lancaster Quiz league.
